Kill Paris played a great set at What The Festival the other weekend. Starting off the show with his “I wanna be your lover”. Also music from some other artists that were at WTF like Classixx and Tycho. Next year they need to try and get Daft Punk to come out. How about that? Daft Punk playing outdoors in Eastern Oregon??

Classixx live at the What The Festival Sunday afternoon. Quite a crowd at the pool for that show. Brand new music from LA outfit Pacific Air. The first three songs tonight were actually all the SoCal chill wave sounds coming out of Los Angeles the last couple of years. Also going back to Underworld’s “Barking” and the Radio Dept’s “Pet Grief” for some older tunes tonight.
Loving the new !!! release. Many songs that don’t really fit our format but a great album start to finish. Also a track off the new Bob Marley Legend Remixed album. This release features many current remix artists. If you want to hear a new spin on some old Marley, this is a good listen. If you like roots reggae, you should probably just stick with the classic Legend release from 30 years ago.

If you like your 80’s bands like China Crisis you’re going to love Neon Neon. It almost sounds like China Crisis has been reincarnated 30 years later. Also music from Tycho who will be at the What The Festival in Dufur in July. Dufur is only 15 minutes south of The Dalles so definitely worth the drive.
